Our Training Programs

Private Pilot Certificate

  • Minimum of 40 flight hours
  • 3rd class medical
  • Pass the FAA written test
  • Pass an oral and flight test

With this license you're able to fly anywhere in the country and take passengers. Share the joy of flight with friends and family, this license never expires with specific requirements met.

Instrument Rating

  • Minimum of 40 hours of instrument training
  • 50 hours of cross country PIC
  • 3rd class medical
  • Pass the FAA written test
  • Pass an oral and flight test

With this rating you're no longer restricted to clear skies! Penetrate those clouds with confidence allowing for safe flying year-round. The rating never expires. However, certain obligations need to be met in order to stay current and legal to fly IFR.

Commercial Certificate

  • Minimum of 250 total flight hours
  • Single or Multi Engine Airplane
  • 3rd class medical
  • Pass the FAA written test
  • Pass an oral and flight test
  • Can be an add-on to an existing commercial certificate

Now you're officially ready to work! You are now on your way to becoming a professional pilot. For many this is the first major step towards working in aviation. The jobs are limited but options are available to start immediately.

Certified Flight Instructor

  • Must hold a Commercial Certificate
  • Single Engine Airplane
  • 3rd class medical
  • Pass the FAA written tests
  • Pass an oral and flight test

For many this is the most exciting certificate yet! This is definitely the most difficult and the most rewarding accomplishment to date in your aviation career. You are now ready to share the passion of aviation with others! With this certificate employment opportunities really open up!

Certified Flight Instructor II

  • Must hold a Commercial Certificate
  • Single or Multi Engine Airplane
  • 3rd class medical
  • Pass the FAA written tests
  • Pass an oral and flight test
  • Can be an add-on to an existing CFI certificate

Now you are an instrument instructor. You can now offer instrument training to your flight students enhancing your employment opportunities.

Certified Flight Instructor MEI

  • Must hold a Commercial Certificate
  • Multi Engine Airplane
  • 3rd class medical
  • Pass the FAA written tests
  • Pass an oral and flight test
  • Can be an add-on to an existing CFI certificate

Now you are a multi engine instructor. You can now offer multi engine training to your flight students enhancing your employment appeal.

Airline Transportation Pilot Certificate*

  • Meet the minimum requirement of 1500 hours
  • Must hold a Commercial Certificate
  • Hold an Instrument Rating
  • 50 hours of Multi Engine Airplane
  • 2nd class medical
  • Pass an oral and flight test
